Filling and breather filters are critical components mounted on the tanks of hydraulic and lubrication systems and gearboxes, allowing air to enter and exit the tank while preventing dust, dirt and particles from the external environment from entering the tank. Function of Breather Filters:

• Air intake/exhaust: Allows air to enter and exit the tank as the tank volume changes (oil level change, temperature change)

• Particle filtration: Prevents dust and dirt from the external air from entering the tank

• Oil filling: Some models also offer the ability to fill oil into the tank

• Moisture control: Prevents moisture in the air from entering the tank with moisture-absorbing models
